PaySpot Signs Agreement With TSC Group

Distributor introducing products to retail base

LEAWOOD, Kansas -- U.S. prepaid provider PaySpot Inc., a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, has signed an exclusive multi-year agreement with TSC Group LLC.

A full-service sales, marketing and distribution enterprise, TSC's goal is to maximize the sales potential of consumer retail and business-to-business products. Since the 1970s TSC's proficiency in sales representation, sales management and marketing has fueled outstanding sales growth for hundreds of brands in general merchandise, telecommunications, consumer electronics, computers, [image-nocss] video games, housewares, furniture, hardware and office products.

Under the agreement, PaySpot's prepaid products and services, such as prepaid wireless, prepaid long distance, prepaid gift cards, prepaid debit cards, bill pay, money transfer and handsets, will be promoted to TSC's merchant base, including regional and national retailers.

Our agreement with TSC offers PaySpot a promising opportunity to expand its retail footprint, said Tom Cregan, president of PaySpot. PaySpot has historically focused on the c-store and independent retailer markets and developed a strong reputation for breadth of product and quality of service, and we are now eager to expand into the regional and national retailers. TSC has the excellent reputation and relationships we need in order to go after these markets successfully.

TSC introduced prepaid to retail clients more than a decade ago, it said, enabling those retailers to capture early market share in a high-growth category. Recognizing the tremendous projected growth of prepaid over the coming years, TSC sought to partner with a strong prepaid processor such as PaySpot, it said.

Leawood, Kansas-based PaySpot's parent company, prepaid processor Euronet Worldwide, handles more than $5.5 billion per year through more than 265,000 merchant points of sale, it said. PaySpot is Euronet's U.S. arm of operations.

Charlotte, N.C.-based TSC will begin introducing PaySpot products to its retail locations this month, and the companies will work together to execute successful and commercial prepaid programs throughout the U.S. retail market.
