It features a crisp, contemporary design that's easy to navigate and built entirely with PEI members in mind, the group said.

"Our members are consuming content on all sorts of devices," said Rex Brown, director of information services for PEI. "The new app delivers essential PEI event information, publications and news right to their devices."

The association is debuting the new app at the 2014 PEI Convention at the NACS Show. PEI will update the app for each major PEI-sponsored event, including the Young Executives Winter Conference, PEI Women Conference and Service & Construction Managers Conference.

In addition, the app will include general-use links to member news, PEI publications and the PEI Directory.

Android users can find the free app on Google Play by searching for "PEI." iPhone and iPad users can download it from Apple's App Store. The app can also be downloaded by texting PEI2014 to 99000.

Founded in 1951, PEI comprises more than 1,600 companies engaged in manufacturing and distributing equipment used in the gas station, convenience store, fuel and fluid handling industry. Members are located in 50 states and 81 countries. Tulsa, Okla.-based PEI is a leading authority and source of information for the fuel and fluid handling equipment and services industry.
