San Francisco retailer to accepts Fleet One cards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fleet One LLC, a Tennessee-based provider of financial service solutions to companies with fleets of vehicles and the merchants that serve them, announced a contract with Rotten Robbie gas stations to provide Fleet One local fuel cards for all its locations in the San Francisco Bay area.

All Rotten Robbie stations carry diesel with premium additives, as well as many other services, including kerosene, lotto, gift cards and snack shops.

This partnership allows commercial fleet customers to take advantage of Fleet One's many products and services," said Robert "Bert" Nix, Fleet One's vice president of merchant development.

Fleet One provides financial service solutions to companies with fleets of vehicles, and the merchants that serve them. Fleet One is an affiliate of SunTrust Banks Inc., one of the nation's largest commercial banking organizations. Fleet One products and services include private-label fuel-card programs, electronic payment authorizations and billing, financial settlement, detailed reporting, and a host of other value-added solutions to its nationwide customer base.

Owned and operated by San Jose, Calif.-based Robinson Oil Corp., Rotten Robbie is a locally owned independent gasoline marketer that has operated under the "Rotten Robbie" name since 1971. The company actually began business in the 1930s in Watsonville, Calif. as Mathson Petroleum.
