Toronto-based Tim Hortons is the largest fast-food chain in Canada, with more than 3,500 stores, and it also has more than 600 locations in the United States. It plans on opening its first Texas location in summer 2022 in Katy and 15 stores over the next five years in Georgia.
The company taste-tests 75,000 cups annually to guarantee quality and consistency.
There’s always another LTO around the corner at Tim Hortons, as well. For Mother’s Day 2022, the company rolled out a Mother’s Day Timbit Arrangement, a new twist to its Donut Bouquet, which featured 20 Timbits in a round, red velvet box for the price of a 10-pack. An Irish Cold Brew was released around St. Patrick’s Day.
The company also aims to make a difference for individuals, the communities where it operates and the planet. Tims Camps, for example, help break down barriers for underserved youth by equipping them “with the skills they need to reach their potential,” the website says. It announced in May 2022 it was starting a pilot program involving reusable and returnable cups to cut down on waste.
Specialty hot beverages include French Vanilla & English Toffee, Coffee Mocha, Mocha Latte, Caramel Latte Supreme, Latte and Cappuccino.
