Last summer, Savannah, Ga.-based Parker’s went live with DailyPay, a program that allows employees to access their pay daily, weekly or on-demand. Since before the program’s rollout, Parker’s has offered employees free financial counseling services and financial wellness classes for team members.

In addition to its employee-facing technology initiatives, Parker’s uses software bots to automate time consuming, repetitive back-office tasks. For example, Parker’s can compile data to fuel a predictive analytics engine to help decide how much of each product should be in stock at any given time of year.
