TravelCenters of America Partners With Fast-Casual Chain

Truckstop location is restaurant brand’s seventh in Georgia

COMMERCE, Ga. --TravelCenters of America LLC has a new franchise agreement with Fuddruckers. On Feb. 12, the partnership unveiled a new restaurant within a truckstop and convenience store in Commerce, Ga.

The seventh Georgia location for the Texas-based restaurant brand, the Commerce site offers both table and lounge seating for 101 guests.

“We’re thrilled to announce this partnership with a landmark company whose long and storied history is so closely tied to road travel in America. Not only is this location the perfect pit stop for exploring area attractions, but it also provides weary drivers with a welcoming and comfortable option to fuel and rest up while filling up on a delicious meal,” said Peter Tropoli, COO of Luby’s Inc.

Fuddruckers offers grilled-to-order burgers, as well as sandwiches, platters and salads. It features the Build Your Own produce bar, with fixings such as sun-ripened tomatoes, lettuce, sliced onions, dill pickles, pico de gallo and cheese sauce.

Houston-based Luby’s operates 179 restaurants nationwide: 93 Luby’s Cafeterias, 77 Fuddruckers, eight Cheeseburger in Paradise and one Bob Luby’s Seafood Grill. The company is the franchisor for 111 Fuddruckers franchise locations across the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Mexico, Italy, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Chile and Colombia.

TravelCenters of America, Westlake, Ohio, operates 253 full-service travel centers in 43 states and Canada, principally under the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands. The company also operates more than 200 convenience stores, principally under the Minit Mart brand, in 11 states.
