Turkey Hill Launches 'Monster' Burger Line

Hill-Topped Burgers feature specialty preparations and customizable toppings

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Turkey Hill Minit Markets has introduced Hill-Topped Burgers, a new line of Angus beef burgers. While the burgers have been developed with specialty builds, customers are also encouraged to customize their burgers via touchscreen ordering to select condiments and toppings, if they choose.

The debut lineup, which recently launched in all Turkey Hill stores that have touchscreen ordering, includes:

  • Mac & Cheese Burger
  • Cheese Fry Burger
  • Diablo Burger
  • Brinner Burger
  • Monster Burger (which includes four burger patties)
  • Mushroom Swiss Burger
  • Rodeo Burger
  • Taco Burger
  • Chili Cheese Burger

Turkey Hill has installed touchscreen modules at 39 of its 249 Pennsylvania stores and continues to introduce the system at additional locations. The touchscreens facilitate the retailer’s Built Your Way customization program, making it easy for customers to choose from a range of vegetables and condiments to build burgers suited to their individual tastes, the company said.

“With the wide selection of sides, salads, snacks and drinks we also offer, Hill-Topped Burgers can be the foundation of a satisfying, delicious meal with quick, convenient service,” said Kim Hertzog, Turkey Hill’s public relations manager. “We’re all about flavor, convenience and choice. Hill-Topped Burgers are the latest example.”

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is based in Conestoga, Pa., and is part of the convenience division of The Kroger Co., Cincinnati. Turkey Hill has stores in Pennsylvania and an expanding presence in Ohio and Indiana. The Kroger Co. operates nearly 800 convenience stores under six banners in 19 states.
