The fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States is rolling out a new pizza: Pepperoni Pepperoni Pepperoni.

The pizza is layered with three kinds of pepperoni—crispy-cupping pepperoni, deli-style pepperoni and traditional pepperoni—on Casey’s made-from-scratch-dough, said Tom Brennan, chief merchandising officer for Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s.

The pizza “is just the right amount of a lot of pepperonis,” Casey’s said.

  • Casey’s General Stores is No. 3 on CSP’s 2023 Top 40 update of convenience-stores chains by total number of company-owned locations.

The pizza is available starting Tuesday, Feb. 28, for Casey’s Rewards members and on March 1 for all customers across Casey’s 16-state footprint for $16.99.

To promote the new pizza, Casey’s is partnering with three National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) star basketball athletes: Tyreke Key, guard, University of Tennessee; Kris Murray, forward, University of Iowa; and Sydney Parrish, guard, Indiana University. They will visit their local Casey's locations for pizza.

Casey’s operates more than 2,400 convenience stores in 16 states. The company, one of the top pizza retailers in the nation, has introduced new private-label foods such as cheesy breadsticks to draw consumers into its stores.
