LAVAL, Quebec — Circle K has launched its Make Your Mix campaign, a social-media program that highlights the chain’s Froster and Polar Pop beverages.

Consumers who share their mix of Circle K beverages on Facebook or Instagram will have the opportunity to win a variety of undisclosed prizes. Entrants must use the hashtag #MakeYourMix, as well as tag @CircleKStores in their posts. The contest applies only to U.S. consumers ages 13 and older and runs through Aug. 16.

“Whatever’s in the mix for your summer, Circle K is your destination for icy cool treats like our Polar Pop and Froster, each with endless flavor combinations,” said Alicia Mowder, senior director of global marketing for Circle K. “As summer temperatures rise, our vast beverage offerings help you stay cold longer.”

Along with the contest, Circle K has partnered with travel and parenting Instagram influencers on ways for consumers to survive the summer heat. The influencers will share their stories to spark ideas for ways to mix up their fountain beverages.

This isn’t Circle K’s first promotion this summer. The chain recently offered $1 hot dogs throughout July to celebrate National Hot Dog Day, which was July 17. The company offered other limited-time offers during the month, such as a Polar Pop beverage and a hot dog for $2.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., Laval, Quebec, has more than 8,300 c-stores in 48 U.S. states, mostly under the Circle K brand. The chain offers a variety of branded, proprietary and private-label items, as well as a recently revamped coffee program. The chain is No. 2 in CSP’s2019 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by number of retail sites.
