CHICAGO — If you can’t be with the one you love this Valentine’s Day, or even if you can, consider a couple of limited-time offers celebrating the day.

Ballston Spa, N.Y.-based Stewart’s Shops is offering 50-cent single-scoop cones all day on Valentine’s Day. Stewart’s offers 25 flavors at the cone counter, including its limited-edition Cherry Loves Chocolate, a cherry-flavored ice cream with dark chocolate flakes and red cherries.

Other flavors include Bark in the Dark, which is made with white chocolate salty pretzel bark; the coffee-flavored Brew Ha-Ha; and Crumbs Along the Mohawk, which includes graham cracker pieces and a caramel swirl.

Stewart’s Shops, which likes to tie a 50-cent cone offer to a holiday, makes its own ice cream with fresh milk from local dairy farms near its plant. See all the flavors here.

Meanwhile, Toronto-based Tim Hortons is offering its rewards members a buy-one, get-one on any size Americano, latte or cappuccino starting Feb. 14 through Feb. 20. The offer is available only online or through its app in U.S. restaurants.

During this time, Tim Hortons also is selling seasonal strawberry baked goods, including Strawberry Cheesecake Donut, Strawberry Cheesecake Muffin and Strawberry Dip Donut. In October, the company offered an LTO Halloween Sprinkle Donut.

Tim Hortons also has a promotion running now through May 10, where U.S. rewards members can buy a 10-pack of Timbits for $1. Timbits are bite-sized donuts that come in flavors including Apple Fritter, Honey Dip, Salted Caramel, Sour Cream Glazed, and Strawberry Filled.

In September, Tim Hortons held its annual Smile Cookie campaign, in which 100% of the sale of chocolate chunk cookies was donated to more than 27 charities across the country. The cookies are topped with pink and blue icing drawing out a smile. A record $245,000 was raised in 2020 to support charities and hospitals nationwide.
