SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. —Johnsonville Sausage has debuted its new digital merchandiser in convenience stores.

The merchandiser features a digital screen that displays menu items, build suggestions, topping ideas, special promotions, flavor descriptions, photos and nutritional information. It also contains a flash-drive insert for users to upload their own flavors and recipes.

"Our new digital merchandiser brings upscale appeal to operations as part of Johnsonville's commitment to helping operators create a high-quality experience that keeps current customers satisfied and attracts new ones every day," said Craig Yoder, senior associate brand manager for Johnsonville. "With merchandising units designed to easily fit most existing roller grill units, operations of any scale will benefit from this tool that expects to boost both roller grill profitability and sales volume.”

The merchandiser has preloaded flavors and recipes for immediate use. It is made with a glass canopy-style sneeze guard, a tong receptacle at eye level and a chip rack to simplify upselling. Branded Flavor ID tag options are available for both rail and individual tags.

Founded in 1945, Sheboygan Falls, Wis.-based Johnsonville Sausage is a national brand offering bratwurst, Italian sausage, smoked-cooked links and fresh breakfast sausage links. The privately held company distributes products in 40 countries.
