Sanders to succeed retiring Carl Brakebush in January

WESTFIELD, Wis. -- Brakebush has announced the retirement of its president, Carl Brakebush, on Jan. 8, 2016. Scott Sanders, a 36-year employee and current vice president of sales and marketing, will assume the post of president on Jan. 1, 2016.

Brakebush has served as president since 2010, and he will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors.

Specializing in chicken, the company provides products to meet the needs of chain and independent restaurants, schools, colleges and universities, healthcare facilities and convenience stores. Best-selling products include Tappers Beer Battered Boneless Wings, Sriracha Bites and Tater Chip Tenders.

Founded in 1925, Brakebush is a U.S. family-owned and -operated company with production facilities in Westfield, Wis., where it has its headquarters, and Irving, Texas.
