DANVILLE, Ark. — Family-owned pizza chain Pizza Inn Express has opened a shop inside a newly renovated Exxon-branded station in Danville, Ark.

The pizza shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It features a drive-thru window and dine-in seating. Specialty pizzas include a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza. Other menu items include sandwiches, wings and made-to-order appetizers.

"We are excited to bring Pizza Inn to the Danville community," said David Blackmon, owner and operator of the new Pizza Inn Express, which officially opened Jan. 17. “The Danville location will make fresh dough continuously throughout the day in order to make the best crust possible. Guests will likely smell our fresh dough when they enter our store. Our customers expect great-tasting food served in a clean and hospitable environment, which is exactly what everyone can expect with our newest Pizza Inn Express."

Blackmon, who also leads Blackmon Oil Co., a family-owned fuel business based in Glenwood, Ark., said his team will give $500 worth of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) grants to two local high schools. The grants are part of the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance.

"David is one of our top-performing franchisees, and we are thrilled to have him open his fourth location with us," said Douglas Kwong, vice president of marketing for Rave Restaurant Group, Dallas, parent company of Pizza Inn Express. "He is a great operator, and he's very active in the community. I have no doubt that, like his other three locations, this Pizza Inn Express will experience great success."

Dallas-based Pizza Inn Express was founded in 1958. The company has locations in 14 U.S. states.

Irving, Texas-based ExxonMobil has approximately 11,500 branded sites in the United States.
