MILFORD, Iowa — Jason Farrell, president and CEO of foodservice distributor Land Mark Products Inc., died in his sleep Dec. 7. He was 48 years old.

Farrell spent more than 30 years with Land Mark Products. In April 2019, he helped lead the merger with Orion Food Systems that built a comprehensive foodservice solution between the two companies. Along with Randy Johnson, co-owner of Land Mark, Farrell was an investor in the joint enterprise and continued his roles as president and CEO after the deal.

Under Farrell’s leadership, Land Mark Products was also named Kum & Go’s supplier of the year in 2016.

“With his remarkable knowledge of food, convenience-retailing business and distribution, he was simply invaluable to the industry,” said Keith Kinsey, CEO of Orion Food Systems, Sioux Falls, S.D. “Jason’s exceptional work ethic, passionate and long-term commitment to his clients and his desire to always do the right thing was integral to both his personal and professional life.  He truly was one of a kind and his presence and friendship will be greatly missed.”

Those looking for more information should reach out to Kinsey or Dana Evaro at Land Mark Products.

Visitation services will be held Dec. 14 in Milford, Iowa. Click here for details.
