Weigel’s is now featuring Swaggerty’s Farm sausage on its breakfast menu—in its popular Stuffed Biscuit and other breakfast sandwiches.

The retailer expects the breakfast items to be available at Powell, Tennessee-based Weigel’s convenience stores in the East Tennessee region by mid-September.

  • Weigel’s is No. 99 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of convenience store chains by store count.

Family-owned and -operated Swaggerty’s Farm has been operating since 1930. “Centered around a family recipe using a unique blend of spices and a tried-and-true process, Swaggerty’s Farm consistently delivers superior flavor, texture, and taste to all their sausage products,” the Kodak, Tennessee-based company said.

“Combining the history and tradition of two remarkable East Tennessee businesses seems like a natural fit,” said Michael Schwind, Swaggerty’s farm director of business development. “Both companies remain family owned and operated and keep quality as a No. 1 priority. I’m very excited to watch this partnership develop.”

For more than 90 years, Weigel’s has been a brand with a community following, growing from a family dairy farm to the 75 convenience-store chain it is today.

Swaggerty’s Farm products are available at more than 13,000 retailers, wholesale distributors and foodservice establishments nationwide. It is operated today by the fourth generation of family members.
