Kalibrate Acquires Kent Group

Acquisition of Canadian fuel-pricing expert expands Kalibrate’s North American offer

MANCHESTER, U.K. --Kalibrate Technologies Ltd. has acquired the Canadian fuel price information and services provider Kent Group Ltd.

Kalibrate offers fuel pricing, location planning, market data and traffic count data solutions in more than 70 countries with clients that include oil companies, convenience stores and supermarkets.

Founded nearly 50 years ago, Kent Group Ltd., London, Ontario, provides marketing economics, performance measurement and benchmarking; price/margin reporting/analysis and regulation; and industry economic research and analysis to a client base that includes petroleum marketers, government and regulatory agencies, industry associations, and large-volume petroleum buyers. These include Husky Energy, Imperial Oil, Parkland Fuel Corp. and Irving Oil.

Kent Group will continue operating as an independent company in Canada but will provide Kalibrate’s complete solutions to its customers. Meanwhile, Kalibrate will offer Kent’s analysis, benchmarking and consultancy services to its entire North American customer base.
