MILWAUKEE — It’s Dive Bar Time.

In a limited-time offer, Miller High Life and alco-ice cream maker Tipsy Scoop, New York, have partnered on churning out ice cream bars infused with the essence of dive bars: peanuts, sticky floors and Miller High Life, the beverage company said.

“These are premium ice cream bars that are reminiscent of all the scents and tastes of the dive bar that you actually want to taste,” said Bob Vydra, associate marketing manager for Miller High Life, Milwaukee. “They’re an ode to the High Life—in the form of ice cream.”

Vydra said Miller has assembled “everything we love about dive bars into these premium ice cream bars infused with the Champagne of Beers.”

Ingredients include:

  • A chocolate dipping to evoke the dark wood and dim lighting.
  • A peanut swirl, a nod to classic dive-bar snack.
  • A hint of vanilla smoke flavor that recalls these establishments’ distinct smell.
  • A swirl of caramel to represent sticky floors.
  • A sprinkle of fizzy, carbonated candy to bring Miller High Life’s effervescence to every bite.

The beer brand also is offering legal-age fans a chance to win the ice cream bars through a sweepstakes on millerhighlife.com/icecreamdivebars. Fans unable to buy the ice cream bars can enter for a chance to win a six-pack of the ice cream from Aug. 22 through Sept. 4.

“It’s summer. It’s hot,” Vydra said. ”We think everyone deserves to reward themselves. What better way than with High Life and ice cream?”

This is the second unusual promotion in just a few weeks for Miller, which in July partnered with Latin music artist J Balvin to create a clothing and merchandise line inspired by the vibe, look and culture of the bodega.
