BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rich Products rolled out its Peanut Butter Cup and Chocolate Chip Brownie Dessert Pizzas as well as Chocolate and Strawberry Parfait treats, available in convenience stores.
“These Brownie Dessert Pizzas and Parfaits are fully finished, so c-stores simply thaw and serve them,” said Alyssa Barrett, customer marketing manager of convenience at Rich Products, based in Buffalo, N.Y. “Rich’s grab-and-go options are perfect for inspiring impulse purchases and creating cravings that will keep customers coming back.”
To drive foot traffic and repeat visits, it’s important for c-stores to offer a variety of individually wrapped options. The highest percentage of c-store grab-and-go purchases are made in the afternoon for lunch or a snack, according to the Foodservice IP 2022 Convenience Store Foodservice Study.
The Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Dessert Pizza has a fudgy brownie base baked with Reese’s Chips and topped with a drizzle of icing. The Chocolate Chip Brownie Dessert Pizza features a fudge brownie with Hershey’s chocolate chip pieces, topped with a ganache drizzle and chocolate curls. Both treats are pre-packaged and come in 2-ounce servings with 48 per case and a 30-day refrigerated shelf life.
The Chocolate Parfait combines tiers of chocolate cake, vanilla icing and chocolate icing layered together in a 4-ounce cup. The Strawberry Parfait layers vanilla cake, vanilla icing and naturally flavored strawberry filling in a 5.5-ounce cup. The parfaits, which ship eight per case, have a 365-day shelf life and a refrigerated shelf life of 10 days.
