Convenience-store retailer Parker’s is putting more information in consumers’ hands with a new website launched Feb. 1.

The interactive site, www.parkerskitchen.com, lists gas prices and store amenities by location. When consumers insert an address, ZIP Code or allow the app to use their current location, the site returns details on what each location offers, such as kitchen, Grab N Go, diesel, marine fuel and electric-vehicle (EV) charging station.

An “order now” feature lets consumers order ahead and choose their pickup or delivery time.

The site, which cost $150,000 and took about nine months to create, uses a modern design and features more photos, video and interactive elements, such as a multimedia timeline, a Parker’s spokesperson said.

“At Parker’s, we’re committed to using technology to maximize the customer experience in the store, at the pump and online,” said Parker’s founder and Chief Executive Greg Parker. “We decided to invest in a more robust website that shares the Parker’s story in a visually compelling way, while offering state-of-the-art functionality that enables our customers to order food online, download the Parker’s Rewards app and learn more about what makes our brand unique.”

While Parker’s had a website previously with its 74 locations listed, including 30 in South Carolina and 44 in Georgia, the new site offers more information and has an improved design, the spokesperson said.

Consumers can access location information by address, ZIP Code or their current location.

Consumers participating in Parker’s PumpPal program, which offers a discounted club fuel price for customers who link their checking accounts to their Parker’s Rewards card, receive one rewards point for every $1 they spend inside a Parker’s c-store. When they reach 25 points, they save 10 cents per gallon. Points add up and can be stacked for a larger discount, up to $1 per gallon.

Separate tabs help filter information by locations offering Kitchen foodservice menus and Grab N Go items.

“At Parker’s, we’re committed to using technology to maximize the customer experience in the store, at the pump and online,” said Greg Parker. “We decided to invest in a more robust website that shares the Parker’s story in a visually compelling way, while offering state-of-the-art functionality that enables our customers to order food online, download the Parker’s Rewards app and learn more about what makes our brand unique.”
