Monster Energy Adds Ultra Gold Flavor

CORONA, Calif. —Monster Energy has a new flavor in its Ultra family.

Ultra Gold, its latest release, has a light pineapple flavor, the Corona, Calif.-based beverage maker said. It has zero sugar, 10 calories and 150 milligrams of caffeine per can.

The Ultra Gold brand has 11 varieties for consumers looking to make the most out of every day and striving for healthier lifestyles, the company said. Drinks are available in convenience stores and grocery retailers nationwide.

Monster Beverage Corp., maker of Monster Energy, also announced on a Jan. 14 investor meeting and business update call that it would be adding a 12-ounce can to c-stores. It’s also launching new flavors of Reign and package redesigns for Monster Hydro Super Sport and Rehab beverage lines.
