For the first time in its history, Stewart’s Shops is launching a sandwich that uses waffles.

With the Spicy Chicken Wafflewich, the newest offering at the Ballston Spa, New York-based convenience-store chain, the spicy chicken patty meets maple-infused waffles, creating a symphony of heat and sweet.

“Our culinary team’s latest creation is a mix of savory and sweet with a little kick to spice things up,” Stewart’s Shops’ marketing director, Bill Majewski, told CSP. “We are constantly searching for the next great sandwich that our customers will not only love but crave!”

The Wafflewich is priced at $4.99, “a budget-friendly option for all,” Stewart’s Shops said.
