LOUISVILLE, Ky. — CandyRific is rolling out Jurassic World and Star Wars candy fans in third-quarter 2022.

The Louisville, Ky.-based company is rereleasing its Jurassic World-themed fans, which were put on hold because of the integrated circuit chip shortages that prevented production of the fans. CandyRific partnered with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment to create the products.

CandyRific uses advanced technology for Fanimation Fans that allows you to have an animated LED show right in your hand,” said Clark Taylor, senior vice president of sales and marketing at CandyRific. “These cool candy novelty fans change due to the light turning on and off as they spin.”

Also, in collaboration with Lucasfilm, CandyRific created Star Wars Classic-themed character candy fans, inspired by Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and Yoda characters. These character fans will be available for shipping in December 2022.

The Star Wars fans come with 0.53 ounces of assorted fruit flavored dextrose candies. It comes in six- and 12-count displays and has a suggested retail price of $5.99.

Louisville, Ky.-based CandyRific sells candy and novelty product combinations using popular licensed brands. Its portfolio includes products branded through Warner Bros., Universal Brand Development, M&M’s, Skittles and more.
