Inspired by the classic caprese salad, Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill took the traditional tomato-mozzarella-basil combination a step further by adding grilled all-white chicken breast, red onion and balsamic glaze, all on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. It’s available for $10.99 for a limited time, although judging by the popularity of the Caprese Mozzarella Burger LTO, which the chain just added to its 2 for $20 menu, the Caprese Mozzarella line is poised to become a menu fixture.
