No stranger to buzzworthy LTO launches, Taco Bell stayed on brand with the rollout of its Naked Chicken Chalupa—essentially a crispy, fried chicken “shell” filled with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
Unfortunately for instant fans of the Naked Chicken Chalupa, Taco Bell announced that it would be pulling the item from the menu sometime in March. However, a statement from the company gave Taco Bell aficionados a reason to hold out hope for its return: “The Naked Chicken Chalupa was always planned as a limited-time offer and because it has proven to be popular and exceeded expectations, we’re confident it will be returning to the menu in the future.”
