PepsiCo is recalling more than 300,000 Starbucks coffee drinks because glass was discovered in some of the bottles, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

PepsiCo, Purchase, New York, is the distributor of the bottles for Seattle-based Starbucks. The recall affects bottles with expiration dates of March 8, May 29, June 4 and June 10, according to the FDA.

The voluntary recall, issued Jan. 28, applies to 25,200 cases, or 302,400 bottles, of the vanilla Frappuccino chilled coffee drink, the FDA said. There are 12 bottles per case. Each bottle is 13.7 fluid ounces.

This is a Class II recall, the FDA said, meaning the “product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

The FDA has not reported any injuries because of the glass.
