NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Convenience-store industry pizza program Hunt Brothers is adding a new item to its limited-time-only lineup.
Cheeseburger pizza, which rolled out Nov. 7, is reminiscent of a classic fast-food cheeseburger, the Nashville-based company said. It features Hunt Brothers Pizza’s original crust topped with a creamy dill pickle-cheddar sauce, a blend of shredded cheddar and 100% natural part-skim mozzarella cheeses, hamburger crumbles and fresh chopped white onions. It’s finished with a sprinkling of the company’s Just Rite Spice.
“We love seeing our c-store partners get excited about our limited-time offers because we know they’ll pass that excitement along to consumers looking for new and interesting flavors,” said Dee Cleveland, director of marketing at Hunt Brothers Pizza. “We’re excited to put a unique twist on an American classic like the cheeseburger, combining the familiar flavors with our pizza. It is a perfect example of how partnering with Hunt Brothers Pizza can provide offerings that build excitement for consumers.”
Hunt Brothers Pizza partners can offer a whole 12-inch pizza or Hunk A Pizza, which is one-quarter of a 12-inch pizza.
Family-owned and -operated Hunt Brothers Pizza, with more than 8,000 locations in 30 states, is a leading brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience-store industry. Hunt Brothers Pizza offers original and thin crust pizzas.
