Pilot Co. began offering its growing selection of foodservice options via Uber Eats in 2019. It turned out to be a fortunate turn when pandemic lockdowns struck.

“It allowed us to use our facilities 24/7/365, even as we were forced to cut back on-site food options,” says Brian Ferguson, vice president and chief merchant of the chain of 650 c-stores and travel centers. “We have great foods, great beverages, wings; why shouldn’t we be able to serve our customers while they’re at home.”
