Alimentation Couche-Tard was ready to innovate with plans for frictionless checkout, curbside pickup, home delivery and more when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

“The pandemic forced us to move faster, especially in the early days as we saw what was happening in our European markets,” says Kevin Lewis, CMO, Alimentation Couche-Tard, Laval, Quebec.

“Alongside our Click-n-Collect offer, we’ve expanded our home delivery options. We now have over 1,200 locations delivering items and are seeing new customers using our locations,” says Lewis. He says customers are especially interested in late night delivery after restaurants and bars close.

Whatever the future holds, Circle K is determined to be there for its customers in whatever capacity they demand. “It will be important to keep true to our core business and do what we do best to make our customers’ lives a little easier every day,” says Lewis.
