Philadelphia-based goPuff was uniquely positioned to take advantage of the new need for delivery when stay-at-home orders descended on cities and college towns across America.

The c-store without a store has offered delivery with a flat $1.95 fee for years, and the company has visibly strengthened in 2020.

The company received $380 million in new funding in Oct. 2020 and closed an acquisition of alcohol beverage retailer BevMo in December.

GoPuff is expanding its network of local micro-fulfillment centers on the West Coast by integrating its technology and delivery apparatus with BevMo’s infrastructure.
