Seventy-two percent of consumers said they are more likely to try a new foodservice item if it’s made by a familiar brand, according to the 2017 Flavor Consumer Trend Report. Kentucky Fried Chicken, North Corbin, Ky., recently rolled out its Cheetos Sandwich nationwide, a nod to popular Frito-Lay brand. The sandwich is made with an Extra Crispy chicken fillet with a special Cheetos sauce, mayonnaise and a layer of Cheetos on a toasted bun.
