With fall arriving, 7-Eleven is rolling out limited-time offerings through Jan. 9.

The items, available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes convenience stores, are:

French Toast Breakfast Sandwich: A blend of sweet and savory flavors available with ham, egg, cheese and bacon mayo; or sausage, egg, cheese and chipotle bacon mayo on French toast bread. The convenience-store chain is throwing in a free large coffee with a sandwich purchase.

Pumpkin Muffin: This fluffy offering pairs well with a Pumpkin Spice Latte, 7-Eleven said.

Gingerbread Big Cookie: Baked fresh daily in select stores.

Caramel Macchiato: “Satisfy your sweet tooth and get your caffeine fix with a creamy caramel espresso blend,” 7-Eleven said.

  • 7-Eleven is No. 1 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

“Although we announced our first round of fall coffee flavors earlier than ever this year, we are excited to officially welcome fall at our 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores with a new selection of tasty treats,” said Dennis Phelps, Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven’s senior vice president of merchandising (vault and proprietary beverages). “From pumpkin to cinnamon, we’ve got all your favorite fall flavors covered to pair with your favorite craveable beverage.”

In addition, through Oct. 31, members of the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs who buy six cups of coffee, Big Gulp fountain beverages or Slurpee drinks will receive their seventh cup free through the 7-Eleven and Speedway apps.

7-Eleven also recently kicked off football season with new offerings on hot foods and snacks.

7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 13,000 7-Eleven convenience stores in the United States and Canada. In addition, it operates and franchises SpeedwayStripesLaredo Taco Company and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits locations.

RaceTrac enters uncharted territory with its Potbelly acquisition

The Bottom Line: There has never been a purchase of a restaurant chain the size of the sandwich brand Potbelly by a convenience-store chain. History suggests it could be a difficult road.

Technology/Services

Most 7-Eleven rewards members use self-checkout but few use it every time

Faster transactions, shorter lines and ease of use drive interest, age-restricted items and technical issues still pose barriers
