7-Eleven is getting a leg up on fall by releasing its seasonal favorites, including Pumpkin Spice Latte, earlier than ever before.

The beverage, which hit stores Aug. 1, is available through Oct. 31 at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide. The annual release actually only beat out the 2022 release by a couple of days. The 2022 release occurred on Aug. 5. It usually debuts in September.

Pumpkin Spice Latte features seasonal spices atop a creamy pumpkin-flavored latte.

Meanwhile, with pumpkin coffee, 7-Eleven recommends its Pumpkin Somethin’ recipe hack by adding two pumpkin spice and two sweet and creamy creamers to any hot or iced coffee.

  • 7-Eleven is No. 1 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

“We know our customers wait all year long for their favorite fall flavors, so we decided to break out the pumpkin a little bit early this year,” said Dennis Phelps, Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven’s senior vice president of merchandising for vault and proprietary beverages. “It may not quite feel like fall outside yet, but it sure can taste like fall as we enjoy the first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.”

Customers can pair their preferred pumpkin-flavored beverage with the limited-time Apple Cider Donut, an old-fashioned ring cake doughnut glazed and coated with an apple cider sauce.

There also is a selection of other apple-flavored bakery items, such as the Apple Snack Pie and Apple Danish, available for $1 with 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards. There also will be more offerings, including the Pumpkin Muffin, coming to stores later this month, 7-Eleven said.

7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 83,000 convenience stores in 19 countries and regions, including more than 13,000 7-Eleven convenience stores in the United States and Canada. In addition, it operates and franchises Speedway, Stripes, Laredo Taco Company and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits locations.
