Farm Stores is a chain of drive-thru-only c-stores established more than 60 years ago. Customers drive up, remain in their vehicles and place their order. Employees place the groceries in the trunk, offering a safe shopping experience even before the pandemic made curbside delivery popular with other retailers. Farm Stores offers milk and eggs, groceries, fresh produce, fresh baked goods, ready-to-eat hot and cold snacks and beverages, freshly brewed coffee and more.

The company implemented the Farm Stores 4.0 initiative several years ago, designed as a brand refresh marked by updated appliances, a cloud-based POS system, online ordering app and overall updated look.

Farm Stores started franchising in Florida in 2015 and as of 2020 has 28 operating franchise locations there. New locations have opened, are under construction or are planned in several other states including Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Louisiana and Connecticut. In early 2021, the company opened a new location in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. In 2020, the chain opened stores in Katy, Texas, Goshen, Pa., and Smithtown, N.Y., in the Long Island market.

The stores resemble red barns,, and "La Vaquita" ("little cow") serves as Farm Stores' brand icon. The company owns and operates some sites while most are in the hands of independent franchise owners.

For benchmarking purposes, store counts are as of Jan. 1, 2021.
