MFA Oil Co. operates the Break Time c-store chain. Some stores have drive-thru service that initially was designed for foodservice but began allowing customers to pick up most items from the stores in 2020 during to the pandemic. All stores are in Missouri and Arkansas and feature proprietary Dashboard Diner sandwiches, as well as a variety of beverages, snacks, candy and general merchandise.
The MyTime Rewards progressive loyalty program rewards customers for visits and spending, and motivates them to move up to the next tier based on behavior. Customers begin at the Start Time level, earning a free fountain drink or coffee each month and a birthday reward. After four visits, they move up to the Play Time level, earning two free drinks per month and a fuel discount. With increased visits per month, they continue to two additional levels, earning escalating rewards. They must requalify every month, then compete to rise up through the tier structure for better rewards.
MFA Oil is a farmer-owned cooperative that began in the early 1900s. The company delivers propane, fuels and lubricants across an eight-state region from Kansas to Indiana. Besides the Break Time convenience stores, MFA Oil operates Big O Tires retail locations in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma, as well as Jiffy Lube service stations in mid-Missouri.
