Sal and Victor Hassan built their first station in Cypress, Calif., in 1996. The company has since built and acquired stores under the Chevron, Texaco, Shell and ExtraMile brand, as well as its own brand, Power Market. The California retailer's director of retail operations and marketing team was named to CSP's 2021 Power 20 list for the quick strategic moves it made in the face of the COVID pandemic.
The retailer has launched its proprietary online ordering and home delivery in partnership with Vroom Delivery from 130 of its Power Market, Circle K, Food Mart and Extra Mile locations, covering approximately 10 million consumers across the state. Customers can place orders through the H&S mobile app, website and social media.
