S&G operates 73 convenience stores under the S&G Stores and Stop & Go Stores brands. It bought 12 Barney's c-stores in December 2021.

Earlier in the year, S&G launched a new Real Deal Rewards platform offering new enhancements, such as geofencing, market basket promotions specific to a customer’s purchase history and a broader offer of clubs and deeper discounts. It also launched a new back-office system to all stores and its home office in a partnership with PDI.

S&G won The Reader’s Choice Award for best convenience-store chain in the Toledo Market for 2021 and is a 2022 nominee.

The company has plans to renovate all back bars to better represent cigarettes, smokeless, vapor and cigars. After that, it will revamp food service offerings in select locations to broaden its product offering.
