With operations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, Nouria Energy Corp. controls Nouria convenience stores, many of which are open 24 hours per day.

Despite a very tough year due to the pandemic, Nouria has been steadily growing and evolving, the company said.

In 2020, Nouria acquired 17 VERC c-stores (two included carwash operations) and four MEGA X locations. It also acquired the branded fuel distributorship business from Roberts Energy.

Founder and CEO Tony El-Nemr set an aggressive goal for Nouria to grow fourfold over the next 10 years. Also, Nouria in 2021 is building or rebuilding at least eight c-stores and carwash locations and remodeling 10 other locations. The list grows regularly as Nouria looks for and participates in acquisition opportunities that make fiscally responsible sense.
