Founded in 1968, Wallis Cos. operates the Dirt Cheap and U-Gas c-store brands, and it franchises the On the Run convenience brand, which is guided by a "fast, fresh and friendly" offer.
It operates On the Run stores in Missouri and Illinois, with a large selection of name-brand products, gourmet coffee and freshly made sandwiches and snacks prepared on-site at the chain’s cafes and bakeries. Doughnuts, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, wraps, breakfast taquitos and pizzas are some of the other food offerings.
Dirt Cheap offers weekly deals and Cluck Bucks, plus a Drink of the Month Club, with alcohol beverages including Jack Daniel's Easter Punch, Irish Pint Drop Irish Cream Pie and Love Potion (for February, of course). It also has a tasting schedule for various alcoholic beverages. Wallis also operates BriteWorX car washes.
