The stores owned and operated by 7-Eleven Stores are neither licensees nor franchisees of the national chain, but are totally independent. The Oklahoma company has grandfathered rights to use the name and branding.
The chain distinguishes itself from the competition with its many proprietary and private-label items, as well as the 7-Eleven brand. All but four stores in the Oklahoma network sell fuel. The Oklahoma chain sells unbranded fuel.
In addition to owning and operating retail convenience stores, the chain owns and operates 7th Heaven Bakeries central commissary. The company also has its own full-service distribution center known as DistribuQuik.
