R.L. Vallee operates convenience stores under the name Maplefields. The company also distributes gasoline and diesel fuel throughout Vermont and northeastern New York.

While its target customer is the typical c-store blue-collar male commuter, R.L. Vallee plans to open new stores in urban areas to attract walk-by traffic and female professionals. Its foodservice program features grinder sandwiches. The stores sell Mobil or Irving brand gasoline.
