Reid Stores Inc. is a division of Reid Petroleum, and operates convenience stores in primarily rural areas of western, central and southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. All stores are branded Crosby Mart, and most feature Sunoco brand gasoline, although half a dozen or so carry Mobil, Shell, Valero or Crosby’s private label. The target customer is the 18- to 35-year old male.
Foodservice makes up more than 20% of inside sales. Offers include Subway and Tim Hortons franchises, as well as a Coffee Culture Café & Eatery.
One of Reid's newest stores is a blueprint for future builds: a community hub with grocery and produce, and a seating area with free Wi-Fi. The lounge encourages customers buying fresh-made pizza, made-to-order subs or gourmet coffee to relax for a while.
Reid is very active with promotions, and the company is supportive of charities such as the MDA summer camp and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
