MAPCO Express

Owned by COPEC of Chile and a new entry to the Fuels 50, MAPCO operates under the banners MAPCO Express, MAPCO Mart, Fast Food and Fuel, Favorite Markets, Delta Express and Discount Food Mart. Most of the chain’s stores are free-standing structures with attached gas stations that are generally located on heavily trafficked intersections. Its loyalty program, My Reward$, ties to the fuel pump with 3 cents off every gallon and 5 points for every gallon pumped, along with 10 points for every dollar spent inside the store. Points can be accumulated and used toward free products.

In 2014, the chain began selling E15. “We have a long track record of offering new products to our customers and E15 fits in nicely with our current product lineup. Ethanol-based fuels have been a lower per-gallon cost alternative over the past few years and this should allow us to offer our customers additional fuel options,” said Dan Gordon, vice president of business development for MAPCO, at the time of the rollout.
