The Spinx fuel brand of Spinx Co. Inc. had a market efficiency of 2.57 in 2017, driven in part by technology. This includes its mobile app, which offers real-time Spinx fuel prices. Through the app, users can manage their Spinx Xtras loyalty card, which offers a 5-CPG discount for every $25 purchased in-store. Customers who use it as a debit card earn 5 CPG off every fuel purchase.

Elsewhere on the forecourt, Spinx continues to make improvements. In 2017, it introduced a car-wash tunnel system that can wash up to 60 cars an hour. The car wash is service-attending, so employees work directly with customers during the payment process to ensure a smooth transaction. 

The c-store is a draw for fuel customers as well, with the more than 6,000-square-foot sites offering Spinx’s famous fried and baked chicken, as well as healthy fare such as made-to-order yogurt and smoothies, and free bananas.
