Coborn’s Inc.

Coborn's Inc. is an employee-owned grocery retail comp any based in St. Cloud, Minn. With approximately 6,700 employees, the company owns and operates 81 stores throughout the upper Midwest under several brands: Coborn’s (30), Cash Wise Foods (10), Save-A-Lot (4), Food Pride (2) and Economart (1) grocery stores, plus Little Duke’s (19) and Holiday (15) convenience stores. Little Dukes are always paired with a grocery store, while Holidays are always stand-alone.

Coborn’s was founded in 1921 by Chester Coborn as a single produce market in Sauk Rapids, Minn. In addition to grocery outlets and convenience stores, the highly diversified company also operates CobornsDelivers (an online grocery ordering and home delivery service), stand-alone liquor stores, video and pharmacy locations, a couple of hardware stores, and even a florist shop.
