Founded in California in 1969 with George A. Pearson as the sole stockholder, G&M Oil Co. operates G&M Food Mart stores and fuel stations throughout Southern California.
With a motto of “G&M Oil is with you all the way,” the company offers Chevron-branded fuel and locations with private-branded gasoline. Stores target everyone in need of gasoline and quick pickups of beverages, cigarettes and snacks.
The company operates 110 locations branded G&M Food Mart and 35 Extra Mile (Chevron) stores in Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego counties, and it continues to expand. While the primary method of expansion has been to acquire existing locations and upgrade them to modern marketing facilities, G&M has built many stations from the ground up.
