Topper Petroleum Inc. (also Lehigh Gas Corp.) was founded in 1992 and has positioned itself as a distributor of branded petroleum in the Northeast United States. Originally, Joe Topper Jr. purchased two gas stations in Lehigh Valley, Pa., then founded Lehigh Gas Corp. and acquired a Texaco distributorship in 1997. Soon after, Lehigh Gas became affiliated with a number of national petroleum brands.

Today, the company’s portfolio includes a network of branded petroleum and convenience store locations either company-operated or dealer leased/owned, seven Dunkin’ Donuts stores and 17 “Wash & Roll Car Washes.” It says it focuses on helping independent operators establish and run convenience stores. Most of its corporate-owned c-stores are branded “On the Run” with Mobil fuel.
