Gas Land Petroleum, New Paltz, New York, develops, operates and supplies gas stations and convenience stores throughout New York under distribution agreements with Exxonmobil, Sunoco, Shell, Citgo, Gulf, Phillips 66 and Conoco.
In addition to its wholesale and retail business, Gas Land created two other companies that allow the company to operate at an optimum level of efficiency, it said. Gas Land Trucking Inc. owns and operates a fleet of tractor-trailers to serve and deliver petroleum products to Gas Land's retail and wholesale locations. Nesheiwat Builders constructs all of Gas Land's facilities.
In 2020, Gas Land Petroleum began plans to invest in its retail operations and focus on food offerings under the neighborMART store brand. The goal for neighborMART is to be a commuter's one-stop-shop c-store that caters to the New York minute.
NeighborMART has two concepts: One with a full kitchen and deli, and another for space-restricted c-stores that carry fresh, pre-made breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Gas Land expected to open 27 neighborMART locations by the end of 2022.
For benchmarking purposes, store counts are as of Jan. 1, 2023.
