Wallis Companies

Founded in 1968, Wallis Cos. operates 45 On the Run stores, three Mart stores (Mobil or bp fuel) and 14 stores branded Dirt Cheap, for a total of 62 stores. All On the Run and Mart stores have fuel, and six Dirt Cheap stores also have fuel.

On the Run franchise stores are in Missouri and Illinois and feature a large selection of name-brand products, gourmet coffee and a full menu of freshly made sandwiches and snacks prepared on-site at the chain's On the Way Cafe and bakeries. Doughnuts, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, wraps, breakfast taquitos and pizzas are some of the food offerings.

Dirt Cheap promotes itself as a "one-stop party shop" offering beer, liquor, wine, cigarettes, vapors and party supplies. Cluck Bucks, Dirt Cheap's own form of currency, are coupons for $1 off a $20 purchase. A Drink of the Month Club highlights beverages for each month's holiday.

Wallis' portfolio of businesses also includes BriteWorX and Great River car washes, as well as a fuel transportation division for wholesale and commercial distribution.
