Fuel and merchandise are sold at more than 70 Break Time convenience stores across Missouri, owned and operated by MFA Oil Co. MFA Oil acquired its first convenience store in 1981, then expanded rapidly with the addition of stores purchased from Mid-State Oil Co. in 1985. Two stores were added in 2022, including a truck stop in Bolivar, Missouri, and a Break Time convenience store in Springfield, Missouri. The chain has a loyalty program called My Time Rewards that delivers points for dollars spent, gasoline gallons purchased and number of store visits. In addition to snacks, beverages and general merchandise, Break Time stores sell its proprietary Anytime Eats sandwiches, corn dogs and Hunt Brothers Pizza, Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Smokestack BarBQ. MFA Oil is a farmer-owned cooperative.

The company opened its first public propane autogas fueling dispenser in early 2023 at the company's Petro-Card 24 site in Lebanon, Missouri. The company delivers propane, fuels and lubricants across an eight-state region from Kansas to Indiana. The c-store chain offers MFA Oil's detergent gasoline. Besides the Break Time convenience stores, MFA Oil operates Big O Tires retail locations in Missouri and Arkansas.

For benchmarking purposes, store counts are as of Jan. 1, 2023.
