Founded in 1959, Johnson Oil Co. is a family-run business represented by three generations operating ExpressLane convenience stores in northwestern Illinois and southeastern Iowa. All stores sell fuel, most branded Shell and some with bp fuel.
ExpressLane is embedded in the communities it touches and prides itself on giving back to the communities where it has stores. It offers a positive work environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Over the years, the company has supported local schools, sports and community events. Some of the organizations it has supported are the ALS Association, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Pink Heals, Relay for Life, Ronald McDonald House, Shop With a Cop, Spay It Forward, United Way and Veterans Affairs.
